Pench National Park is situated in the Seoni and Chindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh and it is spread over an area of 299 square km which is the Pench national park core area and Mowgli pench sanctuary. Pench Tiger Reserve is one of the best maintained Tiger Reserves in India. The jungle safari has its own charm and the many ponds and the Pench river offers a great chance for you to spot the wild tigers and leopards. The open top Gypsy ride adds to the fun and excitement. The forest department allows only a fixed number of jeeps at any time (20-25) so we book your safari well in advance. The safari timings are good, starting at 5:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm in the evenings. The vehicles are not allowed to turn around and all this is done to ensure that animals do not get disturbed.
It mesmerises you with different perspectives every time you step into the forest. The landscape, flora, fauna leave you spellbound at different times of the day, An ideal break away from the urban rush. The forest is pristine and the long safaris inside the park are amazing for wildlife sighting. Best time to visit Pench Tiger Reserve is always summer as animals tend to move and get close to water. The park however is at its best just after monsoons (when it reopens), as it is lush green. There is a wide range of birds which are great subjects for nature photography enthusiasts. People who are wildlife professionals get to exchange their thoughts with the experienced naturalists.
The Bengal tiger is the main cat species in the park. As per latest tiger census, there are approximately 40 tigers, 39 species of mammals, 13 species of reptiles, 3 species of amphibians. Commonly seen wildlife is Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Pig, Jackal, Indian leopards, sloth bears, Indian wolf, wild dog, porcupine, monkeys, jungle cats, gaur, and barking deer live in the park.
This wildlife sanctuary is very clean and contains tons of wildlife and birds to see. An overall enchanting experience to be in the jungle with the chill weather which adds real excitement to your trip.

Day 1:
Reach Nagpur, Maharashtra station around 8AM. Cab will be waiting for you at Nagpur station. Start your journey from Nagpur after all members meet. Travel time will take approximately 2 hours to reach the hotel, after completing check in procedure, hot delicious lunch will be waiting for you. After lunch we will do a briefing and introduction round with all participants.
Get some rest and get ready for your first wildlife safari. The forest is pristine and the long safaris inside the park are amazing for wildlife sighting. So, carry your cameras and binoculars for spotting the wildlife. One can see a variety of animals including Wild Dogs, Sloth Bear, Jackals, Porcupine, Pangolin, Gaur (Bison) besides all other regular animals and of course tigers. Evening come back to the hotel, freshen up and have dinner. At night you will be having a discussion about tomorrow’s safaris. Sleep early in the night because next day we will be having two wildlife safaris.

Day 2:
Wake up and be ready before 5.30AM sharp. Mostly we will try to carry pack breakfast so that we spend more time in safari. Most of the time forest guide track tigers on their pugmarks. Other commonly seen animals are elephants, leopards, deer, sambhar, reptiles, jungle cat, sloth, pangolin, and owls thrive in this park. Come back to hotel and have a hot lunch. Get some rest and get ready for one more evening wildlife safari. Journey is very exciting and full of adventures but sighting of animals depend on the weather and luck.
You will see plenty of other animals, birds and some of the forest scenery is quite beautiful and spectacular - so definitely take your camera and keep taking photos. The overall Safari and Jungle ride is so much fun and so exciting that you are rejuvenated at the end of the 3 hours. After the safari you come back to the hotel, have a delicious dinner and everyone will share their experience about the entire trip.

Day 3:
After having breakfast, we check out from the hotel and a vehicle (shared cab) will be ready to drop you at Nagpur station. Drive will take 2-3 hrs time through scenic landscape. You are expected to reach Nagpur around 11-11.30AM, you can book your travel plan any time after 1PM.
