Kaldurga Fort, also famously known as Nandhi Mal, is an enjoyable trek near the Palghar region on Manor road. Being close to the city, many people enjoy this trek on the weekends and as a getaway. Due to availability of forest land, tribes and villagers still live here. Although there are no boundaries that are defined, it has a massive rock on top which makes it easy to locate and it was used as a location to keep a watch on the region of Tehelani and the pass through which the Palghar-Manor road passes. On most days, the weather is foggy and windy, but if you are lucky, the view is magnificent showing the Surya River which merges with the Vaitarna River further south. A short walk also leads to a small temple, but, since there is no structure remaining, only some rock shards that indicate a place of worship.
