Important Guidelines During Coronavirus
  • It is mandatory to carry a Covid 19 negative report from an ICMR approved lab, which must be dated not more than Three Days before the date of travel.
  • Always carry a Hand sanitizer, Face mask, Hand gloves and practice social distancing. Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes and mouth as much as possible.
  • People aged above 60 years, pregnant women and children younger than 12 years old have been advised to stay home.
  • Participants will have to adhere to strict health protocols, including temperature checks, wearing a mask at all times and maintaining social distance.

The land of the Asiatic lion is the ideal reserve for the tremendous varieties of wild creatures to roam freely and safely. To make a royal journey towards the grand rugged hills of Sasan Gir, the wildlife lovers can get a fabulous opportunity to witness around 2,375 distinct fauna species of Gir to include around 38 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 37 species of reptiles and more than 2,000 species of insects.

Located in the western part of Gujarat, Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is the only place outside Africa where lions are living. Gir has about 400 lions and 300 leopards, making it as one of the major 'big cat' concentrations in India. Deer such as Sambar & Chital, Antelopes such as Blue Bull, Four-horned antelope, Indian gazelle and Wild Boar are in abundance in Gir. Jackal, Striped Hyena, Jungle and Rusty-spotted cat, Langur, Porcupine, Black-naped Hare are among the other mammals of Gir.

Gir has a large population of marsh crocodile, which is among the 40 species of reptiles and amphibians recorded in the sanctuary.
The park checklist has over 250 species of birds. Rare species such as Lesser Florican and the Sarus Crane are recorded in the grasslands along the periphery of the sanctuary.

Day 1:

You can reach Gir National Park by flight till Rajkot, Gujarat or Diu Airport or by train from Ahmedabad, Gujarat till Veeraval, Southern Gujarat then by car. We will arrange your pick from Rajkot station.

Upon arrival, check in to your Jungle Lodge, have a hot lunch, and get ready for the first exciting evening wildlife safari!
Gir Wildlife reserve comprises of deciduous forests, evergreen and semi evergreen vegetation, thorn scrub and grasslands. It is well known as the remaining habitat of the Asiatic Lion, Gir also has a large leopard Population. As 359 Lions and more than 300 Leopards have been counted in Gir during last census, this sanctuary has a large population of Sambar and Spotted Deer, chinkara gazelle, Nilgai and Chowsingha, the world’s only four horned antelope. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2:

Your day starts with early morning wake-up call and tea, then we proceed for early morning wildlife safari.

Late morning return to lodge where your breakfast awaits you. After breakfast relax or explore the nature around your resort. After relaxing lunch at the resort, you will then set out for afternoon jeep safari to the National Park. Overnight and dinner at the Hotel.

Day 3:

Following your breakfast and exploring the nature a little bit, depart back home with Wildlife memories and wonderful experiences.
