  • All tourists coming to Uttarakhand have to register themselves on the Smart City Web Portal ( ) prior to their travel.
  • Always carry a Hand sanitizer, Face mask, Hand gloves and practice social distancing. Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes and mouth as much as possible.
  • People aged above 60 years, pregnant women and children younger than 12 years old have been advised to stay home.
  • Participants will have to adhere to strict health protocols, including temperature checks, wearing a mask at all times and maintaining social distance.

Everest Base Camp trek is one of the biggest dream destinations for all trekkers and thrill seekers all over the world. There is a beautiful and adventurous route waiting for everyone. Pack well, research in advance, put on your trekking shoes and set to go. This dream destination lies at the altitude of 5363m in the north-eastern part of Khumbu region of Nepal. The trek to Everest Base camp and the camping site for the Everest Expedition is the destination for every enthusiastic trekker. The mesmerising beauty will make you fall in love with the whole place. While on trek, you pass through lush green valleys, spectacular pine forests, Sherpa’s villages, their culture and traditions, arid high plateaus, suspension bridges over 100 meters above valleys and the sound of colourful prayer flags fluttering in the wind, which is surprisingly calming. The most important part of the trek is that you will be trekking through the trail of two legendary mountaineers- Tenzin Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary.

Kalapathar is the highest point of Everest Basecamp Trek, which is located at an altitude of 5550m. It is famous for the spectacular panoramic view of the world’s highest mountains. The mighty Everest’s close up view can only be seen when you reach Kalapathar.  You can admire the 360-degree view of the world's highest peaks like Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Makalu, Mt Cho-Oyu, and surrounding mighty peaks. This entire trek is done in the Sagarmatha National Park, also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site which covers an area of 1148 km.

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and Check in to hotel. Altitude 4600ft.

Check in to the hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and is also a tourist hub for travellers from all over the world. You can explore the Kathmandu streets in the day time, our coordinator will meet you at the hotel in the evening and he will brief you on the entire trip and talk about necessary trek preparations. Overnight stay in hotel.


Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2835m) and start trek to Phakding (2610m), Trekking Distance 9km, Duration 4/5hrs.

Transfer to airport for a connecting 30-minute flight to Lukla. Lukla airport has a very short runway, landing and taking off is an extremely adventurous experience for all tourists, one one side, there is a wall and on the other side, a steep drop into the valley below. The trek leader will meet you at Lukla airport. After giving a short briefing, your trek will start towards Phakding village.

Trek to Phakding is easy and gradually ascends by the riverside, along the well-marked footpath passing through multiple teahouses. Lukla is located on both sides of Dudh Koshi River. You can refill your water bottles on the way to the tea houses. Overnight stay in guest house.

Note: We advise you to keep one buffer day as weather there is always unpredictable at Lukla.


Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar, Altitude 3440m, Trekking Distance 10km, Duration 6/7 hrs.

Today we start early as it is quite a long walk. Today you enter into Sagarmatha National Park, where you have to show your permits and Id proof at the office in Monjo. The trail goes up and down and you will be gaining the altitude gradually. Once you reach the Monjo village, that means you reach the midpoint of the trek. You can refill your water bottles in tea houses on the way. After taking some rest at Monjo you continue to trek towards Namche, as you walk further your path goes uphill for almost two hours but a cool breeze throughout the journey helps to walk uphill. The entire path is beautiful and very scenic with the Dudh Koshi river flowing throughout the trek.


Namche bazaar is a delightful mountain town, it is also the capital of the Khumbu region. As you approach towards Namche Bazar you can see peaks like Thamserku Kondgerei, which are visible on the east and the west. The sacred mountain of Khumbila is visible on a clear day, and you will get your first view of Everest. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, Altitude 3440m

Today is acclimatisation day, so it is important to walk in the higher side. This day is specially meant for acclimatisation since it’s important for the people who stay in the lower altitude (city life) to feel normal at an altitude of 3440 meter. Namche bazaar also called as Sherpa’s capital, where you can see Sherpa’s cultures, traditions and their hospitality, which is so amazing. Also, you can find facilities like Markets, Restaurants, Banks, ATM, Shops, cafes etc. You can do your trekking gear shopping (in case any gear is missing or not available) here. One more major attraction for tourists is the Hillary Museum located in the world-famous Namche Bazar during Everest Basecamp Trek. The museum is open for all trekkers who come for Everest region treks, expeditions or research purpose. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, Altitude 3860m, Trekking Distance 8km, Duration 5/6 hours.

Today’s trek is 5/6 hrs long to Tengboche valley, this place is really scenic and the initial trek starts with a gradual ascend till Phunki Tenga. Your actual ascend starts after crossing Phunki Tenga, here you will cross one more suspension bridge. Today you will get the mesmerising view of Mt Everest, Mt Thamserku and Mt Amadablam. Tengboche altitude level is 3860m and one might start feeling the air pressure hitting the mind. Tengboche monastery is one of the largest monasteries in the Everest region. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche, Altitude 4350m, Trekking Distance 9km, Duration 6/7 hours.

Today you start your day early in the morning for Dingboche. It is going to be a long day as you will be walking for almost 7 hours. You will be trekking through wooded forests and along the Imja Khola valley. A pebble trail and a gentle incline, the walk is surrounded by lush green forests and towering snow peaks. On the way you reach Pangboche village, the village has very less population but offers tremendous views of Mt Aba Dablam. You reach Dingboche and you have to cross Lobuche river before you start ascending. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 07: Acclimatization day (Rest day) at Dingboche. Altitude 4350 meter.

Today we have one more day for acclimatisation. Instead of sitting in a hotel we take you for small acclimatisation hike for 2/3 hours. This beautiful short hike offers you amazing views of Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu, Mt Ama Dablam, Island peak and surrounding beautiful valleys below you. Dingboche village is the most popular tourist area in the Everest region, where locals are completely dependent on tourists. The Imja river can be seen flowing east of the village. Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche, Altitude 4950meters, Trekking Distance 7km, Duration 5/6 hours.

The moment you start trekking towards Lobuche, the valley starts to become barren. Trek starts with steep climbs and continues along a well-defined uphill path. Today’s walk is up on the rocky terrain, and moraine, be careful as the path is slippery so with each step you have to take proper caution and move ahead. On the ridge you can see prayer flags fluttering and stones which are shrines for climbers who lost their lives while climbing Mt Everest. After 3 hours of steep ascend, Tawache and Nuptse are particularly spectacular from Lobuche. Once you reach, you will be completely taken aback by the beauty of the untouched nature. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 09: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5350m) and back to Gorakhshep (5160m), Trekking Distance 12km, Duration 6/7 hours.

Summit day! Today is an exhilarating day for you as you are going to reach your final destination. You start early in the morning towards Everest Base camp via Gorakhshep. Today you have to be physically fit as well as mentally strong. Lobuche to Gorakhshep is just 6 km distance which will take 3- 4 hours’ time. Initial trial is quite pleasant for about 100 m & as soon as we cross few moraines, the actual climb starts. Cool breeze throughout the journey helps to walk uphill. Finally, you reach Gorakhshep which is our rest point and from here Everest base camp is just 3km. After taking some refreshments and rest, we continue our journey to EBC.


The ascend to Everest Base Camp becomes steeper and rougher as we cross several moraines. Once you reach the EBC you will realize that all the pain was worth taking to be where you are! It is a beautiful and picturesque place you can spend hours looking at the peaks and keep clicking photos.  Everest Base camp gives you unforgettable views of Khubutse, Pumori, Changtse and Khumbu Icefall, with a close up view from the basecamp. After spending some time at EBC we start our return journey towards Gorakhshep where we are staying tonight. Overnight stay in guest house.



Day 10: Gorakhspe to Kalapathar (5545m) and trek back to Pheriche (4300m), Duration 13 hrs

Kalapathar (Black Rock) is a primitive view point of Everest Base Camp trek, it is the highest point of the EBC trek located at an altitude of 5545 meters. Start very early in the morning for the mesmerizing sunrise. From Gorakhshep it is just a 2km steep ascend and it will take 2/3 hours’ time to reach, Kalapathar is a rocky hilltop below Pumori. Trekking to Kalapatthar is the most challenging part of the whole trek, but it is the most rewarding one, also people are more excited to see the majestic Everest from this point and the views are so mesmerising. From the top you can see peaks like Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu, Mt Cho-Oyu, Mt Pumori, Mt Nuptse and other mighty of peaks. You will descend and trek back to Pheriche. Pheriche is a village situated above the Tsola river. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar via Tyangboche, Trekking Distance 15km, Duration 7/8 hours.

After having breakfast, you start trekking back towards Namche bazaar. Trekking down is easy but sometimes it hurts your knees so be careful and walk slowly. On the way you cross villages like Panboche and Tyanboche which will offer you beautiful mountains views. You will be trekking through rhododendron forests across Imia Khola and see multiple monasteries on the way.Follow the way across the Dudh Koshi River, continue to descend through the forest and a short ascend just before reaching Namche Bazar. Overnight stay in guest house.


Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla, Trekking Distance 18km, Duration 7/8 hours.

Today is your last day in Namche bazar, get up in the morning and explore the surrounding beauty. After having breakfast, we start our next journey towards Lukla. Passing through close views of snow-capped mountains, streams, lush green valleys, Sherpa’s villages and following the Tensing and Hillary suspension bridge. Stop for lunch at Phakding, you can refill your water bottles from the teahouses. From Phakding, gradual ascends to Lukla, you should reach in the evening around 3/4pm. Your Everest Base Camp trek gets over with beautiful and lifetime memories. Overnight stay in guest house.



Day 13: Lukla to Kathmandu

You take an early morning flight to Kathmandu and it takes 30 to 45 mins.  Weather plays a big role, sometimes the weather here is so windy and cloudy that it can shut down the entire airport.  We suggest you keep 1/2 buffer day in Kathmandu. After your landing, you transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Remaining time you can explore Kathmandu or relax in the hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Important Note: Sometimes the weather at Lukla airport is cloudy and windy and it can shut down the entire airport. We suggest you to keep 1-2 Buffer days in Kathmandu. Plan your return flight accordingly.


Day 14: Transfer to Airport, Fly back to home

Today is your last day as per the itineraries. You can extend the days on your own if you want to explore more of Nepal.
